6th Grade Parent Orientation

At this event, the administrators, school counselors and sixth grade teachers will present a detailed overview of the sixth grade curriculum, the ins and outs, what to expect, describe the role of the school counselor and will field all questions parents have.   

7th to 8th Grade Course Selection and Curriculum Information Meeting
Suggested Audience:  7th Grade Parents
Hosted in January

At this event, the administrators, counselors and 8th grade teachers will present a detailed overview of the eighth grade curriculum, accelerated high school courses (Studio Art, Earth Science and Algebra) and elective choices.

New Student Breakfast sponsored by the PTSA
Suggested Audience: All new students to Irvington Middle School and their parents
Hosted in September

At this event, new students and their parents will enjoy breakfast with their buddies.  This will be a time for new families to connect with each other. After breakfast is complete and students have gone to class, the administrators and school counselors present relevant information and give families an opportunity to ask questions.
